Hi.
I'm Shrey. I build software, mostly on weekends, for problems I keep running into and can't stop thinking about. The work I care about is usually small and specific: something a handful of people actually need, made well enough that they don't have to think about it.
In the day job I lead AI automation at Northern Health, the health authority for the northern half of British Columbia. It is real work with real constraints: privacy, compliance, budgets, the whole thing. I like it because the stakes are concrete and because the people inside the system are trying.
On my own time I build things like PG Social, a community board for Prince George, and FippaFlow, a tool I'm using to argue with the PIA paperwork that keeps good public sector initiatives from shipping. Some of it works. Some of it is still an argument. That feels right to me.
Yours,
Shrey
